Unable to open /dev/sdb fdisk
Fdisk with is a new menu-driven program for creating and editing partition tables. A guitar usually looks something like this: /dev/sda, /dev/sdb. The name made the devices link to a sort of whole discs. /dev/sd? this partition is the device partition. For example, /dev/sda1 refers to the first partition associated with the first device.
If you typed a certain command and got a congratulations message: “Cannot open /dev/sdb”
# fdisk Make /dev/sdb
/dev/sdb cannot be opened
Linux cannot find this section. One way to check if this is the case most often is to enumerate with a die

After you’ve verified that the device is there, run the incredible fdisk /dev/sdb again
