Show full version: sync error – internal log error # 4198
I recently deleted some friends from MS Outlook, and one morning like that, my BB was syncing. I double-checked in my BB address book that everything was reorganized, but these deleted contacts were still stored on my BB. I doubled my family and checked my PIM settings in Desktop Manager (DM) and then looked at the connection log.
In the calendar, tasks, notes and address book they are all added after the line in the journal:

The first thing I can try is to delete and possibly add a new Outlook profile. Previously, error 4198s would appear when Intellisync was unable to read the Outlook profile for various reasons.
Everything worked, thanks Jersey! I reset my PIM sync settings over DM and then reassigned all my personal MS Outlook apps.
I checked the sync log and all the translations were compelling.
The first thing I would try is to delete it and add a new correct Outlook profile. Osh in the past# 4198s was observed when Intellisync could not read the exact Outlook profile for some reason.
