Solutions To Create A Mailing List In Outlook 2007 From Excel

Over the past few days, some of our readers have informed us that they have encountered while creating a mailing list in Outlook 2007 from Excel.

    Here’s an easy way to create a distribution record directly from an Excel spreadsheet.

    To Create A Mailing List In Excel:

    Organize your contacts and their email addresses into sequential cells.Select nearly adjacent cells (A1: B5 here in the example) and select Copyovat.Open Outlook.From the File menu, choose New.Select a mailing list.Give a title to the entire list.

    • Place contacts and their email addresses in sequential cells. See the Single Table below;
    • Select all you see, adjacent cells (in the example A1: B5) and select “Copy”.
    • Open Outlook
    • Choose New File
    • from the menu.

    • Select a mailing list.
    • Enter a name for the list type.
    • On this mailing list ribbon, select the Select Members From Specific Member Group command.
    • Click the Select Members button and the contact store will open.
    • Click inside the member’s chest (below).
    • Right-click and select Paste (Ignore Current Format).
    • Click OK. The items are added to the current list.
    • Click Save & Close.

    Close the book.

    • Open Outlook and unlock your Contacts folder.

    • In the “Classify Collage” section, select “Import and Export” and the File Import Wizard will open.

    • Select Import from Other Programss or file ”and click“ Next ”.

    • In the Select the type of trigger to import box, select, select Microsoft Excel and 97-2003, and then click Next.

    • Click Browse and be sure to find the file you want to import.

    • Click OK, then click Next.

    • Select this contacts folder and click Next

    • When the dialog box opens, it will appear as “Import AList List” into the Contacts folder.

    • Check the box.

    • Click Finish
