• Error: The product description file was lost.
• Error 1402. Failed to open key.
• Error 1603. A fatal error occurred during installation.

1) Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to access Task Manager at the same time

2) Go to the “Processes” tab

3) Kill related processes running in the background.

4) Return to C: Program Files CyberLink

5) Try deleting the Power file againDVD.

• Error: The product or feature definition file was lost.

• Error 1706. The installer cannot find the files it needs.

• Error: Failed to apply changes. Make sure the specified conversion approaches are valid.

Please note that there are four common installation problems you can solve. You must use the correct version of CLCleaner to resolve these stuck issues. Follow the instructions below to determine whichAny version of CLCleaner should be used.

Scenario 1. If someone is unable to “upgrade” PowerDirector 12, they must use CLCleaner-PowerDirector_11.0.exe or CLCleaner2-PowerDirector_10.exe … depending on the older version of PowerDirector you have installed. (which you updated).

1. Go to C: Program Files cyberlink

2. delete CyberLink PowerDirector 12 folder and previous version folder
