I have a great Optiplex 790 that I use for games and other stuff. I replaced the rear exhaust fan (also known as a hard drive fan) with just about any one plugged into the large Molex port on my PSU. Since it doesn’t connect to each of our 5-pin hard drive fan headers, I get a hard drive failure notification every time I boot my system. I would like to know if it is possible to disable this warning without purchasing an adapter or replacing the connector on a new fan.

First check if you are using H80i and possibly not H80i v2. V2 fans are often 4 pin PWM fans. The H80i comes with 3-pin fans. I think you said that these fan headers are 3-pin, so this method is H80i, but just for confirmation.
When using AIO cooler, only TOP_FAN headers should be used, but PUMP_FAN. Don’t use all 3. Place the AIO pump jacks in PUMP_FAN, currently fan jacks and in TOP_FAN.
