Over the past few days, some of our users have reported having encountered dmi event ID 31.

Description	Windows Update ultimately failed to download the update.
Event Information	According to Microsoft: Cause This event is logged when Windows Update was unable to download a particular update. Solution reconnect the Windows Update Server If you are not connected to the entire Windows Update Server at this point, you can manually test their connectivity by running my wuauclt.exe utility. Wuauclt is in the background, which means Microsoft Update may request the Windows Update website to contribute. Running wuauclt with the / detectnow switch instructs the program to immediately check for updates from that particular server. 1. Open a command prompt in administrator mode from a window. 2.
