How To Edit Music Metadata With The Groove
Perhaps the fastest way to update song metadata and album art is to use the built-in Groove Electric Rock app.
Update Album Information
Find the album everyone wants to update by browsing albums in the library.Right-click the collection and select Find Album Information.Typically, you should follow the instructions in the Find Album Information dialog box to find the specific correct information and update the master album.
- Open groove.
- Clickread “My Music”.
Under My Music, use the Filters menu and select the On this Primary Device Only option.
Right-click the album containing the songs you want to publish and select the Edit Information option.
The Edit Album Info tab definitely has a lot of information you can edit if you want, including basic information about the album such as title, artist and genre. You can even press the Pencil button to update the album thumbnail.
You can also rearrange song titles and artist information with tracks if they are in the wrong order.
Tip. If you enable this option to display additional options, you can actually change the temporary song name.
- Click this button to save.
In addition to manually updating album information when most of the information is missing, you can click the Find Album Dates button So that Groove will automatically get the correct information for all songs as usual.
Update Track Info
- Open groove.
- Click My Music.
Use the precise Filters menu in the My Music section and select the “Valid on this device only” option.
- Click our own album of songs you want to update.
Right click and “Edit Information” option for visitors.
On the Edit Song Information tab, you can update the metadata information of a specific song, including title, artist, track, hard drive, album name, artist, genre, year, etc. Sorting titles (if enabled toggle Show advanced options for beginners).

- Open File Explorer (Windows Key + E).

Open Groove Music and upload your current music.In the middle pane, right-click Trach or Album and choose Edit Info.Edit the metadata in the Edit Album Information window and click Save when finished.

Everything you see on the Details tab has always been metadata, but you can quickly change most of it by clicking the Stock Market icon next to the asset. Some information you can update is song title (title not specified), album title, artist, genre, owner, mood, etc.
