- Boot sequence needs to be improved to boot from the ERD Commander bootable CD. so the computer tries and boots from the ERD Commander CD in front of the hard drive.

1. Download and install MSDART 30 year trial. The plan can only be downloaded from Microsoft itself. If you have a Technet or MSDN account, this connection provided comes directly from Brothersoft and not from their adware. MSDART must be installed on a Windows xp / 2000/2003 computer.

6. Select “Restore to get an existing restore point just created by Windows” and click “Next”. Note the suggestion below that says ERD recovery is definitely partial and not complete as it is in all of Windows. If that’s enough to access Windows, you can perform a full restore later if you ever need to.
7. Select restart from the available list and click Next. The days or season can be changed using all arrows and the calendar.
8. The next screen shows which zones related to the system and registry will be changed. Click Next, then click Yes to confirm the restore.
After completing the ERD System Restore Wizard, the computer will unfortunately reboot by clicking the “Finish” button to complete the entire restore process. Be sure to remove the CDs that will allow you to restart the ERD.
