Over the past few days, some of our users have informed us that they have disabled error macros for a project.

Outlook Macros Disabled. How To Solve The Problem?

Assuming you wrote your own macro and are used to it when it runs on your PC, you need to improve your macro security settings accordingly.
To check your security settings, do the following:
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- The file came from the tape.
- Call options.
- Click Trust Center in the left pane.
- Then click on Trust Center Settings.
- Then macro settings.
Now set the security level. We recommend that you literally use the following version settings:
a) 365/2019: use Disable all macros with notification or
b) Version 2016/2013: use notifications for digital signatures only …
- When you’re done, click OK. But
- Finally, restart Outlook.
- Your macros should now work.
If you already have an Outlook Developer tab in your Hangar, the process is even easier. For your information, the Developer Ribbon has a built-in validation framework where you can write your vba macro. Let’s see how you can change the security settings of your macros in the Developer tab:
