There are multiple Exchange 2010 database public folders.
In this case, users with Exchange mailboxes based on Exchange 2013 or 2016 should not be able to access public folders through Microsoft Outlook.
Reason
Start Outlook 2010.If you don’t pay, you will be redirected to the expected mailbox view.In the lower left corner of the current screen, you will see a small folder icon. Press hereYou will now switch to case evaluation.You can expand this to see all PFs you start navigating to.
This issue occurs when the mailbox database that hosts the user’s publication is configured for a public catalog database that is different from the regular mailbox database for detecting male or female folders.
Resolution
To eliminate this river As a suggestion, configure the user’s mailbox list to use the same client database folder as the discovery mailbox:
Assign a functional folder discovery public mailbox to each user’s mailbox, typically by using the Set-Mailbox cmdlet as follows:
Set-Mailbox -DefaultPublicFolderMailbox
Right-click (Ctrl-click on Mac) "Other Calendars" and select "Add Shared Folder to Favorites".Select the desired calendar and "Add to Favorites"Right-click (hold down the Ctrl key on a Mac) "Other Contacts" and select "Add Public Directory to Favorites".
Normally, the public database folder is assigned to our users’ mailbox databases using the Set-MailboxDatabase cmdlet in exactly the same way:
Permission. To view other types of public or public folders, open the desired view in Outlook i.e. H click Calendar or Contacts in the secret formula bar. You can also select Go | Folder list in Outlook menu and/or you can find all publicPrivate and shared folders that many of you have access to.
Run the application cmdlet to restart the Microsoft Exchange RPC Client Access service on the current server running Exchange Server that hosts public folders:
Restart the MSExchangeRPC service.
