I Have A Problem With A Garage Door Opener Locking The Chain Drive.

Over the past few weeks, some of our readers have informed us that they have come across garage door openers who are repairing chain drives.

Protected Mode is an application for running a program on a laptop computer with an Intel microprocessor, in which the program is limited to a certain contiguous area of approximately 640 kilobytes. Intel’s original PC microprocessor, this 8088, offered one megabyte (1 MB) of random access memory (RAM).

To access a BIOS feature, you would normally set a specific value in the CPU’s AH (or AX or EAX) register, and this wouldopcode INT.
