Tips To Fix Nvidia Gnome Shell Memory Leaks

I have seen several times using the Dash Dock that many gnome shells have 500MB of good old RAM. I think the problem is a closed mix of Nvidia drivers with an extension not working.
In Ubuntu 20.04 I have no problem, the system andUses about 600 MB of inactive RAM, while Archlinux has about 380 MB of inactive RAM. Gnome Shell uses about 150MB of RAM on Ubuntu and about 130MB of RAM on Arch.
I recently learned that performance, the main user interface of Gnome 3.36.2, is slightly degraded due to uptime.
The most obvious consideration is that timed animation over a window has a lag and is severely sticky. The applications themselves were not affected. When I tell Gnome to change workspace, it takes the King of California about half a second to delay the animation. This is true even if you have to press the meta key to confirm all my windows or control the alt-tab. Everyone seems to share the delay.
I’m using a mostly discrete desktop with Vanilla Gnome on Ubuntu 20.04.
It looks like my research on this topic suggests that there are memory leak issues in the 18.xx versions of the operating system, but dozens of them have reportedly been fixed. The only thing I can do about this point is that there is a new problem, regression has occurred, the original fix is alsoe didn’t work.

Display latency affects performance to the point where I end up having to restart the system. The Gnome Shell rate definitely leaks over time as it is ~ 300MB in size and when it finally stays for a day it will stay at ~ 600MB or more.
Compared to my general device and nominal body condition, I ran into this issue asking this question. I am creating a stick / vanilla gnome desktop that is not just configured for Ubuntu.
My system has 64 GB of RAM, just 6 GB of what is currently in use. My cpu usage hovers on 12 channel vCore up to 20% maximum. I have a very RTX 2060 for my GPU.

Normally I would consider this as an emergency with some, for ordinary users this error makes the operating system completely unusable.

I’m using Ubuntu 17.10 with Nvidia 1070 gtx, so I also have a 16GB Gnome shell. Recently, the gnome-shell process, which starts after a few hours, starts consuming the latest Memory and hard disk slows down. The only thing I have left is gnome-shell or system restore.
I restarted the gnome shell using this killall -3 gnome-shell and it freed up some memory but then led to something weird
As you can see, the memory used exceeds the total memory size. I might be missing something all the time (something I might not know), can anyone help me figure this out, besides maybe fixing the memory usage issue in the Gnome Shell
As Chelmite pointed out in the comments, I realized that the memory usage error is actually not bigger than all the memory, so the problem still exists and will most likely need to be fixed in the next version of gnome < / p>
