I have several ESXI 6.7U1 virtual hosts that I want to connect to each domain; I start with vhost1 (IP=##.##.##.2). The domain runs two on Windows 2016 Server domain controllers (vm) identified as dc1 and dc2, IP addresses ##.##. ##.10 then ##.##.##.11. Have smbv1 disabled on both domain controllers. I’ve cleared all IPv6 on the network as far as I can find, including directly on the hosts and VMs. I have no indication to them that the domain is otherwise down, but I’ve had to re-sync group policy shares/SYSVOL in the past, so it’s not out of the question that my problem is somehow related to another domain controller. Tried

I belongconnected to each of our domains from both hosts with the same good results. Web UI Join, Manage, Authenticate, Domain Join results in a prominent message in Recent Tasks: “Error Specified – Domain is least accessible or unreachable.” I went into the command line interface (logged in as root) and logged my interactions, which are basically copy/paste from various pages I searched on Google, including solutions that worked for users and didn’t reach me, only appeared with (multiple) return errors.

Vhost1 has just been installed on the hardware and is still running under a temporary license. Vhost2 Is more established, licensed as a proper and free ESXi host. Currently only VCSA is available (although I’ve tweaked it to show the best. VMotion/HA is very good, but it may not be included in the very expensive Essentials package). My general question is almost all that this tells me what to decide next from here? What other important information should I collect to make sure what works and what doesn’t?

Similarly, Errors Are Attempted When Connecting To A Windows Domain Program

Good morning everyone. Since I’m also at risk of connecting to a full Windows 2008 R2 server in part of our larger network.Domainjoin-cli

    Code:

root@place:~# join administrator domainiwant.in comRegister AD: domain Domainiwant .comFrom computer dns: jsass.domainiwant.comAdministrator [email protected]:Error: Lsass Error [Code 0x00080047]9502 - dns_error_bad_packet (0x251e) A bad packet was received due to the DNS server. The requested address may not exist.

I read this a bit beforehand. The two servers are within a minute of each other, so I don’t worry about the ideal server time. I really know there is no where to go next. Everything I’ve read seems to indicate that this should “work” again. Any suggestions might be helpful.

Re: Can’t Find Windows Domain Join.

    2. sudo install apt-get-also-open
    3. .sudo .domainjoin-cli .join .to .full .your administrator’s domain name

    4 domain. sudo update-rc.Dikewise-open defaults
    experienced. sudo /etc/init.d/also-open start

    After step 3 I get
