What VMware License File Was Not Found And How To Fix It?

This article is intended to help you if you receive a “vmware license file not found” error message.

Every time I try to enter a license code for a vCenter, I get an error “Invalid license key, file not found.”
I contacted VMware to confirm that my license code was correct, with no, almost all typos.
Then I open a problem plane ticket and I am transferred to a location outside of the agencies in India. A support person told me that I need to reinstall vCenter Operations Manager (what?).
Now, after getting a 2GB 1.Ova file and importing it into vcenter, the same distribution remains.
Fresh installation of ESXi 5.5 with 2 hosts and vCenter 5.5 installed on Server 2012 R2.
First I licensed the hosts as well as the vCenter with our internal licenses, which worked fine (Enterprise plus), then it is very important to go to the licenses purchased by the client (Essentials), then I removed the licenses and you need to perform the rental, return the hosts and vCenter to trial licenses that worked fine. Then I installed the most important new license codes through someone’s vCenter and still get the exclusive witherror message “Invalid keys” and less detailed information “License error: 5. Diagnostic message: license file no longer found”
I have tried copying and pasting computer codes and entering them manually, but none of the above. It seems that there are quite a few articles on Google about this error, so I’m not the only one, but there is no definite solution

Well, instead of a license key, you need to register the vCenter with vC Ops for vC Ops to control it.

I installed vCenter straight from the garden in my lab starting with version 5.1. Everything installed to D: with no errors (vCSSO, Inventory Company, Web vCenter, Client, etc.) and the problem worked fine.
I entered a new vCenter 5.0 license key besides working, entered all my vSphere 5 Enterprise keys and it worked. I entered my five different vShield.0 keys for vCloud and got “Invalid Key: No license file found.”

I have tried other options for entering licenses and I have the same problem. I only managed to add vCenter and Ent + keys.

vShield will appear as vCloud Networking and Security during asset management and is currently in trial mode. I once configured vCenter to 5.0, vShield Manager 5.0 and vCloud Director 1.5 and it worked. I upgraded from 5.0 to 5.1 and the licenses are still there. I started with a new arrangement and now I can no longer add each of our licenses.
You cannot use 5 vSphere certificates for vSphere 4. In order to obtain some of the licenses required for vSphere 4, someone must lower your privileges (vCenter Server and CPU licenses) in your My VMware collection. Don’t worry, you can upgrade users later after upgrading vSphere 5.

First, if the Windows ISO file got corrupted, I suspected it and downloaded it again from Microsoft’s website, but the problem still persists. So I think the problem, I would say, is the VMware workstation, but at some point I will find a solution. How:
- When installing the New Virtual Machine Assistant, select “I will install the operating system later” instead of using the file from the installation CD.
- When you are done with the wizard, select VM -> Settings -> CD / DVD -> Use ISO image file, then select the ISO image to install Windows. Start the virtual machine and users can get Windows to work as expected.
This issue also starts with Fusion, VMware Hyper-V, Parallels, VirtualBox. If the above solution doesn’t work, try adding more memory to your virtual brewing system. Good luck !
