If you look on Google, it looks like people have recently been trying to figure out how to use explorer to view thumbnails of .MOV files. None of the many answers seem to work. I still have an answer related to IV (my shorthand for Irfanview), a thumbnail that works. However, I KNOW that you can definitely see the MOV thumbnail (with an IV in the corner) all over the folder … because my laptop does it! However, my new home computer does not.
In case the images still barely appear in Windows 10, chances are that someone or something messed up most of them due to your folder settings. Click Options to open the folder options. Click the View tab fully. Make sure some of the Always show, never replace thumbnails icons are unchecked.
I figured that all I had to do was launch IV on my new computer (which I hadn’t worked on before) and sort out other MOV thumbnail issues. However, there is still a but icon on my desktop and not a thumbnail. However, on my laptop, I could see a movie-like thumbnail very well with a specific IV point in the lower right corner!

Now the IV on the laptop is an older version than on the new computer. In addition, SP2 could be installedUpdated in advance. The K-Lite codecs on computers are undoubtedly older and seem to have been installed prior to SP2. I don’t know if I was on both sides before SP1.
On my desktop, I first installed the selected K-Lite King codec pack, and at the end I would say it is a selection of MOV thumbnails.
Then I set IV 4th and 25th tested MOV as one of the possibilities (along with all other types of images). I also uninstalled and installed the first-class .exe file for IV plugins. I also restarted my computer to be sure.
To understand the sketches, you need to edit the tours in Windows Explorer. In the product selection pane, click View | In addition to Windows, thumbnails will replace normal tab icons with illustration thumbnails. Windows will also create a new file in this folder called Thumbs.

Windows Vista does not display MOV, QuickTime or Apple thumbnails like Windows Media Player does. What I set up is that I go to the guide where I can download any of these video details above (like MOV, QuickTime) and pretend to go to the catalog downloads.
