A servlet is a Java programming language class used to extend the allocation of memory space hosted by applications that are typically accessed using a request-response programming model. The HttpServlet class provides methods such as doGet and doPost for HTTP-specific performance services.

1)Create Directory Structure

To start the Apache Tomcat host, double-click the .bat file startup report in the apache-tomcat/bin directory.

Write JAVA_HOME in the variable name and include the jdk folder path in the flex:

Note. There are two types of Tomcat:

2) How To Move Apache Tomcat Port Number

Changing a particular type of port number is necessary for another server to run on the same host system with the same port number. Assuming you have Oracle installed, you can change the port numberrelated to Apache Tomcat as both have a default port number of 8080.

Open the server.xml file in Notepad. Is it managed in the apache-tomcat/conf directory?Change Connector to Port = 8080 and replace 8080 with any four digit number instead of 8080. Let’s change it to 9999 and this backup file.
