Solving Sony Mini DVD-R Error Problem

Some DVD or Blu-ray Disc® software installed on your computer provides discs for video playback without the ability to burn to discs. In some of the above cases, this can also be fixed by replacing the DVD and Blu-ray drive drivers with the latest version of each. Check with your computer manufacturer for details.

Some of these media files are not always written to disk because they are in unsupported formats.

This message may appear if some of the images you want to burn to a disc are not supported by the PlayMemories Home Create Disc function. Below are the ones that are supported byand making CDs.

• Use MTS or M2TS Exercise Files to create Blu-ray or AVCHD discs. DVD
• Use MTS, M2T, M2TS or MPG files and extensions to create discs.

Other video formats are not supported by PlayMemories Home.

Unable to write to this disc.

The following factors may cause this message to appear:

• Scratches, smudges or deformation of dirt on the disc. Repeat recording with a new disc.
• The form has been formatted using a computer. Use a new, blank disk that is not easy to format on your computer.
• A blank DVD-R or BD-R cannot be additionally backed up and has already been used. Use a new disc.
• The disc is also not supported by the home page of the PlayMemories software.

Make sure you are using one of the following compatible disc formats:

• Data disc: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD + R, DVD + R DL, DVD + RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW.
• DVD-Video disc: DVD + RW, DVD + R, DVD + R DL, DVD-RW, DVD-R
• AVCHD (HD) disc: DVD + RW, DVD + R, DVD + R DL, DVD-RW, DVD-R
• Blu-ray (HD) disc media: BD-RE, BD-RE DL, BD-R, BD-R DL

Unable to start because the destination of the temporary file shed is limited.

You do not have enough space in the backup destination to temporarily store the information needed to create the disc. Increase the main free space on the target disk used for temporary files, or move the target disk to one that has enough space. Follow these steps to change the destination of temporary files:

1. In the Create Disc window, click Settings.
2. Click General.
3. For temporary files, click Destination.
4. Click Submit and make sure you make the changes that appear on the screen.

This storage medium is incompatible.

The error may give the impression that you are using a CD / DVD recorded with the DVD Handycam®.

• If the disc selection is not yet defined, sign it with your camcorder.
• If you normally connect your camcorder with a disc to your computer using a USB cable, also remove the disc and then reinsert it into your computer.your camcorder.
