Anti-malware test file
This test file was provided by EICAR as the “Standard EICAR Antivirus Test File” and meets all of the above criteria for one person. This is great because it is definitely not a virus and it does not contain viral rule fragments. Most products respond simply because they are malware protection (although they usually label this with an obvious, loud name, such as “EICAR-AV-Test”).
