- Garbage should be stored in containers weighing 40 to pounds. all.

- The trash must be taken out the day before. Do not dispose of your trash until Saturday before the pickup date.
- Refrigerators, stoves, air washers, air conditioners and dryers should always be placed on the sidewalk.
Membership in articles will NOT be accepted until:

Westmont County trash bills were posted in January for a period of twelve months. Stoch lawsWestmont Borough waters are published quarterly in January, April, July and October. Waste bills can be paid at the Westmont Borough office on Minno Drive.
For more information on the use of hazardous materials and waste containers, contact the Cambria County Solid Waste Management Authority at 1-877-237-6748 at www.cambriarecycles.org. On annual pick-up days, ONLY e-waste (NOT TVs) can be collected at a pick-up point near the public works building at 1000 Edgehill Drive from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. DO NOT transfer items at other times.
Garbage is collected in the area once a year, usually in May. The schedule will be published in the main newspaper. 2019 annual garbage collection dates: Regularly your home garbage collection ceremony: pick up Monday 6 May 2019, pick up Tuesday 7 May 2019, pick up Wednesday 8 May 2019.
The area collects leaves from September to November. You have to rake leaves on the side of a specific street. Don’t let the rake go outside. No leaves in the bags are well preserved. No pickup truck on the street.
H Fenovs / branches are selected by the public works department up to 5 people per year. The schedule will be published in the newspaper and on the website. Maximum diameter 6 inches. Should be neatly folded at the edge that most often faces the street (not the street). No pick up from the aisle. No garden debris. Do not put bags in addition to boxes. If you come to pick up during the week, you should definitely go outside before 7:00 am Monday morning. There is NO way back.

No animal can be on the street, in public or private property, unless the animal is kept on a leash and under the control of the owner or employee. No one can allow a rat to immediately move into an area that for the most part does not belong to the animal without removing it. Not a single object or bird should disturb the peace and quiet of the surroundings with its howling, barking, meowing, screechingoom or other frequent and familiar sounds for a specified continuous period of 15 minutes, possibly intermittent for more than 30 minutes.
The shaded trees in the priority area, next to the sidewalk, are the property of the area. This hardwood must not be removed, scratched, shredded, painted, deformed or damaged in any way.

Various streets in the area are marked “No parking” at the exact time of day and in winter to clear snow. Violations can be punished. Residents are asked, if possible, not to clear the snow and not to shovel the snow on the street after it has been removed. Residents must clear snow from sidewalks.

Recently, residents of the area are deploying (concrete, asphalt, stone) over the priority area in front of their landowners. This is a violation of the Westmont County Code.
Forms are sent to owners annually in November. It is important that landlords provide forms and information to their tenants. Landlords are responsible for notifying their tenants to get the perfect relocation permit when they move out.
If a property is sold or transferred, mandatory testing or video surveillance is required prior to closure to determine if rain or illegal surface water is actually connected to the sewer system. Applications can be obtained from the Westmont Borough office.
