How To Fix Important Security Aspects Of Windows Firewall

Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System.Select “On” in the top left corner, then select OK.Then close the Registry Editor by clicking the X in the upper right corner of the dialog box or choosing File > Exit.
Tampering with any type of Windows registry can cause all sorts of problems if you’re not careful. If you share your computer with other people, you can prevent less experienced users from accessing and modifying the registry.
If you don’t have a system key, right click for Windows and select New > Key and name it System. Double click DisableRegistryTools and change the setting to 1 to disable Regedit. You can, of course, remove this key if you change your mind or let someone else’s registry editor work temporarily by resetting the data value to 0.
If you share a PC with other people, blocking certain aspects of Windows can be very effective. For example, we almost talked about how to prevent users from shutting down Windows and disable the link between Control Panel and Settings. You can also disable access using Notory’s main tool, the Registry Editor, if you don’t want everyone to have access. Here’s how.
But a very important warning. In some of these instructions, we will remind you to make sure that you provide access only to the users you want, but you should always have at least one administrator account on your PC that is not blocked in any way, including access to this records. OtherwiseYour company will not be able to undo these changes.
Home Users: Disable Registry Access by Editing the Registry
If you’re using Windows 7, 8, or 10 Home, your organization must edit the Windows Registry to make these changes. You’ll probably do the same if you already have Windows Pro or Enterprise, but you’ll be more comfortable working with the registry. (However, if you’re using Pro or Enterprise, we recommend using the simpler Local Group Policy Editor, as described in the next section. Disclaimer: )
The default registry editor is your powerful tool, and if you abuse it, your system will most likely become unstable or possibly unusable. This is a pretty handy hack, and as long as your needs match the instructions, buyers shouldn’t have any problems. Before a person starts editing the registry, you need to do two things:
And if you have multiple users you want to change, show them to repeat these two steps to get each user.
After you are logged in as one of the users for whom you are making changes, launch the Registry Editor by clicking Start and typing “regedit”. Press Enter to open the Registry Editor and give it a license to make changes to your computer.
In the editor, use the rest of the sidesth panel to access the use button:

Next, create a new value in this System key. Right-click the System key and select New > Dword Value (32-bit) Name the new respect “DisableRegistryTools”.
Then double-click the DisableRegistryTools value to open the properties window. Change my value from 0 to 1 by entering a value in the data field, then click OK.
Use the keyboard shortcut Windows + R Papan Ketik to open the Run command.Enter gpedit.View the following path:On the right side, double-click the 3 policyDeny access to certain registry editing tools.Select the Enabled option.
You can now exit the Registry Editor. The changes will take effect immediately and you can verify them by simply trying to open the Registry Editor again. You should get a meaningful error message. You can now sign information as a user, log back in with an administrator account, and optionally convert that user’s account back to a full-fledged standard account as before.
If you ever want to – undo changes, you will have to log in again if necessary, from which user – change account to accountcheck out your admin account if you haven’t already – and be sure to open the order, ask for admin rights, because you can’t log in to the registry. At the command prompt, enter the following command:
reg add "HKCUSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem" /t Reg_dword /v DisableRegistryTools /f /d 0
This command word will change the value of DisableRegistryTools to 0 for you. Alternatively, you can easily use the downloadable hack details that we will now show in the next section.

If the client doesn’t want to dig into the registry itself, we’ve created two downloadable laptop or desktop hacks that you can use. One hack disables access to the registry editor and another hack allows access. To try them out, follow these steps:
- Change the user account you would normally want to disable the administrator account for to register an administrator account if it doesn’t already exist.
- Log in to your user account to make sure you want to log in.Here are the changes.
- Double-click the hack you want to use and follow the instructions.
- Sign in and out, and then log in with your administrator account.
- Change any user account you have changed to the default account if or when it was the same.
These hacks are really just your System key reduced to the DisableRegistryTools value described above, and even manually exported to a .REG file. Running the current “disable registration for users” hack will generate a specific
