1. Download and install Fortect

2. Open the program and click "Scan"

3. Click "Repair" to start the repair process

Beforecontinue, make sure you still have the Windows XP malware installation CD.

This original installation CD can serve as a recovery disk that you can use to launch the Recovery Console (command line utility) to recover your computer.

You can run all bootcfg, chkdsk and other commands from the Recovery Console.

If You Already Have An Original CD

If you have this hard drive, follow these steps to open the Recovery Console:

• Insert a CD, I would say an optical drive.
• Restart your computer.
• From the main configuration screen, press R to load the Recovery Console.

• You must be logged in as an administrator or as a user with administrator rights. Do this and enter your password.
• Press Enter
• The Recovery Console should now be available.

If Your Company Does Not Have An Original CD

If someone doesn’t have the original Windows XP CD, you can create a bootable floppy disk.

It is necessary that you can actually boot Windows into XP, which will create a boot floppy. Otherwise, if you are unable to start Windows XP, go to the “Load a recovery disc in Windows XP” section.

You must first make sure that your computer’s floppy disk is working properly. Windows XP computers must have a working floppy drive.

Follow these steps to create a bootable diskette for installing Windows XP:

• Run directly under Windows XP
• Insert the floppy disk along with the floppy disk
• Go to your computer.
• Right-click the floppy drive. This is usually the A: reader.
• click format
• As a general rule, check the procedure for creating an MS-DOS bootable disk in the Format Options section.
• Click Start.
• Wait for the process to finish
• When the process is complete, safely remove the floppyif installed.

After creating a healing time disc, follow these instructions each time you use it:
