Me: – I will try to update the information. Please contact Linksys support for the WPS54G Wireless Print Server in MS Windows Vista (Business) to inquire about a taxi driver.

Linksys Support: Unfortunately, our WPS54G driver is not yet compatible with Windows Vista. However, we can still use the print server using the actual LPR port toAdd each print server to your computer. Our only print server known to work with Vista is the WPSM54G. So instead of using the driver, we can add the LPR port to your machine’s properties and set the port as the path to the IP address of that print server. Do you know the unique IP address of the print server? Once you have an IP address, go to the Printers section on your Vista computer and follow these steps:

1. Right-click the printer icon when select Properties.
2. Click the Ports tab and uncheck the Enable bidirectional support and print pool check box.
3. Click Add Port, select Default Port, tcp / ip, then click New Plugin (Note: there is no new connection type).
4. Click Next once when prompted for a specific welcome screen.
5. Enter the home page of the print server’s IP address and click Next.
6. Select and configure collector options.
7. Select LPR in the “Protocol” section, enter L1 in the “Queue name” field, click “OK”.
