I am trying to set up an unattended installation for Windows Server 2008 x64. Yes

I am using DVD and autounattend.xml from USB stick as my drive, but now I want it to work more than PXE so I don’t need to host DVD on some servers overseas.

I’m experimenting with a step-by-step guide: Deploying an Image and Using PXE, which boots WinPE over PXE, except for the last step. I am more likely to use pxeboot.com than wdsnbp. com because I don’t. t Switch on the intermediateOochny server Windows. This detail is considered flawless.

My problem is getting WinPE to do the correct boot installation. The wpeinit command line options documentation might have wpeinit /unattend=pathtounattend.xml, but it doesn’t work without remembering anything on the console and of course no explicit error messages in the firewood file.

I tried both wpeinit -unattend: server share unattend.xml and net use u: server share from wpeinit -unattend: u: unattend.xml but neither exercise nor instead don’t copy it to almost any local machine (like disk and x 🙂 along that path.

My test system is a Dell Optiplex 755 with Intel Duo Core2 and therefore an Intel 82566DM NIC.
The difference between my working autounattend.xml flash key and my unattend.xml SMB can be added to Windows Installer | ImageInstall | OSImage | InstallFrom = Server IP share install.wim, which I think is necessary when I want the problem to be solved without a DVD server.
SMB server is Linux Samba which allows anonymous use without password a. No experience was given in unattend.xml.
