In this guide, we will learn about some of the potential causes that might cause the x200t BIOS to be updated and then suggest some potential recovery methods that you can try to fix the problem.

Assumes all X200 notebooks are acceptable. The X200S and Tablet x200 also work, depending on the configuration.

NOTE. This can only be done using Lenovo BIOS. It is not known how to update the EC, even if libreboot is running on the firmware. Libreboot only replaces the BIOS firmware, actually EC.
