In some cases, an xbmc RSS feed error message may appear on your computer. This error can have various reasons. g.This miscalculation means that you are loading a specific feed in a different format (for example, XSPF) or there is an XML formatting error in your RSS feed (for example, each of our xmlns: media ads is forgotten).

    g.

I have a strange hideout. I managed to destroy my new RSS feed using the RSS Editor add-on, I don’t know how to fix it, although I got an error message with a funny hint.

I am using LE 9.2.6 on RPi4 (4GB version), 32GB with Adata MicroSD card. I want the RSS feed to be backed up again and, if possible, supported. I was currently trying to uninstall reinstalling this add-on, but it didn’t help. Even after reinstalling this add-on, it is still compromised.

“RssFeed.xml was not found near the system or does not contain syntax XML.

Great, so the first step is usually to remove the RssFeed.xml file from the userdata folder. Just right? peasy But when I connect the micro SD card to my Windows 10 PC, I cannot find the “userdata” folder.

Probably the point is that Windows Linux or file system incompatibility …? Or hidden files? Or both?

Can anyone help me with the direction of authorization and how to solve the problem Ooh? Either by connecting a micro SD credit card to Windows 10 or via SSH. I’m not very good at Linux putty commands over SSH, but with a little help I can get by. For your information, in the meantime I have improved (or updated?) The stable and fashionable EEPROM RPi OS (vcgencmd bootloader_version -> 11 Dec 2020).

Or is there really an easier way to fix this RSS error?

Error: RssFeeds.xml was not found on these systems or does not even contain syntax XML. try deleting it from the new user data folder and restart …

    1. I use Confluence on my 7th generation AppleTV skin
    2. Change your local time to Spanish, Mexico
    3. I go to rss update (though I don’t remember what I did) but get rid of everything.
    4. After that I still have the exact error: RssFeeds.xml not found …
    5. I uninstall xbmc and reinstall Dharma version (didn’t work)
    6. I saw the name userdata renamed from – courtesy of userdata.old. Restart XBMC, but the program never creates the user data folder again.
    7. My next step was to rename the XBMC folder to XBMC.old, the PC can’t (obviously) start and reinstall everything again, the system will create your new XBMC folder with user data and RssFeeds again. Xml, but did just that. doesn’t work either.

The last thing I did was enable debugging with Log Everything, which I did:

    17:29:38 liked T: 52490240 M: 29515776 NOTE: [SCENARIO] “RSS Editor: version 1.5.6” is initialized!
    17:29:39 T: 2684407808 M: DEBUG: 29384704 —— Window Init (/mnt/Scratch/Users/frontrow/Applications/XBMC.app/Contents/Resources/XBMC/addons/skin.confluence/720p /script-RSS_Editor-rssEditor.xml) ——

I thought it was just because the English (US) folder existed to try to create it and copy the strings.xml file into it, but that didn’t work

I am getting the same error and trying to fix the RSS. I know I did, but I need to change the sentence and according to the expert I still get this reportedno

I tried to use RssFeeds change.xml in Program Files XBMC userdata, insert a new one and try to change egzisting, but still no change.
I suggest someone mention that navigating to the user’s computer files in the user’s c directory should be done with xbmc, but I hardly see any files in xbmc in the user’s folders.

  • I have exactly the same problem as. It was a run until I tried to add a specific RSS feed. Then when I tried to access the RSS editor I got the same problem as described. everyone would help from time to time to be appreciated.

The last option is to successfully rename your XMBC profile directory to something else. Then, when you start XBMC, it starts up by default with the most important settings. You can copy these sources and libraries to reset everything relatively quickly to your liking.

They do not say that you are using the operating system that you are using, so it is impossible to give specific instructions.

They do not tell you which operating system you are using, so the problem is that you can no longer provide the displayed instructions.

I am using Windows 7. Where can I find the xbmc profile directory? thanks

Click around the keyboard and in the Run dialog box enter:

Then click OK. This approach will open up an explorer window and there will also be many folders, especially one called XBMC. You should be able to right click on it or rename it.

% appdata% is an environment factor provided by Windows. It indicates when you need a directory in which applications can store their applications User data. Surely you can see what its value is when you open an order and write it:

On Windows 7, this could be something like C: Users AppData Roaming, where is your Windows username.

    xbmc rss feed error

This can be found in OSX Yosemite As. Let me tell you that with the latest stable build from Kodi 14.2. Moving.

What buyers should do is use the text from the Kodi wiki about rssfeeds.xml and create a starter file, then MUST insert it into the Kodi user data directory as usual and restart the new app.
    it did it for me

I already know this thread is a few years old, but I ran into the same issue and tracked it down to fix it.

This is Windows 10 with the latest version of Kodi.
What I did was put in the

    directory
    xbmc rss feed error

There is a file in the directory called RssFeeds.xml.
    Everything in my file was:

To fix this, I just copied the same RssFeeds.xml file from the catalog The ha where I installed Kodi, in my case

In the RssFeeds.xml file in the installation directory, the file MUST look like this:

Copying the information from the install directory to resolve it in the Appdata directory fixed the issue 100%. I hope this helps anyone who hasn’t been able to do this lately.
