Recently I have been worried about the need to install the pacman and yogurt packages. Some packages install correctly, but others generate strange errors. For example, I tried to restore the thinkfan AUR package using yogurt and kept getting the error: “cmake: command not found”. Basic development methods. With other packages, such as sublime text, there is only “Error: print commands cannot be executed correctly.”
I searched for answers on their google wiki but couldn’t find a solution that works for me. I even tried reinstalling pacman using the command I found on the main wiki – pactree -l pacman | pacman -S – but this skill did not solve the problem either.
Sorry for the vague questions. I’m prI just need to point in the right direction, otherwise I’ll be in the dark.

PS I tried to go back to install the Spotify package, but it seems that each one installs fine without any errors, but the client doesn’t seem to show up in the list of computer applications …

If you are really using pure Linux, it has a reputation as a help forum. That would be the first place I’d recommend checking out, and if it’s an Arch option, don’t ask them. Just go through here and wait if someone can help you, then post which Arch Linux option it is to try and move the process forward.
