While updating Windows is a simple action, there is a behind-the-scenes mechanism that manages everything. There is also a lot of false information on the Internet about how to fix simple Windows Update problems.
One of the biggest misconceptions about installing all updates at the same time is windows simply deleting the SoftwareDistribution folder, which is registered as C:Windows. This is completely false.
