I have set up a bottom-up demo of Enterprise Portal in Axapta 3.0. Everything works fine except when I try to send an email from the browser. I receive the following error message:

This is usually the end if email settings are not configured in Axapta. You can go to Administration Configuration Mail Settings.
I am using the SysEmailBatch class, it works great for sending emails, but I only get an error if there is an attachment in the email.

I am using SysMailer but it died while posting. Dundas.mailer timed out when I tried to compose an email.

I found that the Dundas mailer does not work even if Visual Basic Scripting is not installed on anyone’s system.
This applies to computers running Windows 2000, although later on platforms this method willIt is installed by default.
The Dundas mailer is supposed to work in ASP as well, and I think the new set of Dundas mailer that says internals assume things like VB scripts are “default” / p>
