I am adding to an HP LaserJet 8150n card with the new JetDirect 615N.
He has been doing great for years, and then all of a sudden, in his last week of school, he keeps showing the following error on his bulletin board:
To work around the problem, I would say that the problem we fixed when accessing the printer will reappear immediately, but the error will no doubt reappear shortly thereafter. If an error occurs, the printer is also logged out, so mlm and are removed from the selection.
I suspect this may be a problem with the JetDirect card. Anyone experienced the error?

HP LaserJet 5000
Hello,
I have a specific client who has an HP5000 that often has error code 81.0180 EIO step 1 ERROR. If this happens intermittently and restarting the printer displays all 79.00FE errors.
It almost certainly contains a JetDirect FX 615 card. These cards created a lot of purchase problems. HP will simply replace them for free by October with a memo. I will contact you.

I am using an HP LaserJet 5000 printer and already got printer error 79.032B. The printer has been checked by a service technician and found no problems.
After returning to the service center, I got a real error codeand printer 79.0D36.
These temporary problems will occur every day. I got to work today and even found an error code in the printer that morning that was not being used but turned on right away. This printer is not connected to a network and has no network functionality. There was only one on the computer.

Does anyone have a solution to these problems? They drive me crazy at first.
I’m not 100% sure if I remember correctly 79 misses are usually caused by incorrect firmware and possibly painful card formatting ….

If the device does not have a JetDirect card, the following must be successfully reinserted or replaced:
Please double check to make sure nothing is plugged into the EIO connectors on the back of the printer. The JetDirect card can cause problems even if you are not connected to this network.
If you have a bad JetDirect 615N, it must be with a modified 620N, if you install more than 615N, you will be surprised when another error occurs.

When I submit to HP, it receives but stops the pen and cuts half of the media curve and that’s it, and as a result, everything still prints incorrectly.
They provided me with a conversion case that came back to bypass the motherboard and it worked for two months now this particular issue is back and I don’t know if anyone has had this experience.
Can anyone help me ???

Never heard of a motherboard bypass converter. Let’s say this is someone else’s JetDirect mailbox. Did you use another JetDirect or Parallel City card prior to its release?
The error client now had the 79.13FE code on his HP 5000 GN. I thought it was a network card, but it turned out to be a hard hitting 5gb inEIO 1. Replaced everything for this product or service, and it was again unremarkable. I will try the hard drive backlighting (second laptop with 5 buttons) and see if this device can be reused. Hope this skill helps
