To make this easier, you can create male or female address books using only the names of your Outlook contact folders. In the Create New Folder dialog box, name the bulk of the folder, choose where to put that location, and click OK.

You can use the following steps to create almost any new contact folder in your Outlook data file. However, I do not recommend using contact folders as a filter for your contacts, as this will make it difficult to manage contact information, formatting contacts into two or three files can help.

To create a new contact folder
- Right-click the contact folder theme
- Select new folder
- Enter folder name (1) < br>

- Click OK to create contacts folder
To save a folder as an address book
- Right-click the new folder
- Select Properties
- Select an Outlook address tab “Book”
- Make sure the current option to use folder as address book is selected
You can right-clickClick on any folder and select New Folder, but the folder is currently the default subfolder associated with the selected folder and corresponds to that particular folder type. You must remember to click the folder button and specify where to create a specific folder.
