However, I’m not sure if it is okay for this mailbox to accept everyone and if it is possible or necessary to increasequota. Is there a

The Answers
Hi Adrian,
The default federated mailbox quota is 1 MB, regardless of ProhibitSendQuota, ProhibitSendReceiveQuota, and IssueWarningQuota. This
The issue is caused by the SCOM management pack running the Exchange Management Shell cmdlets to monitor your Exchange organization. ( across the fields Monitoring Mail Flow with Reports is a feature of the SCOM Management Pack).
A workaround is to increase most of the federated quotanew mailbox using the arbitration command:
Get-Mailbox -identity FederatedEmail.4c1f4d8b-8179-4148-93bf-00a95fa1e042Â | Set-Mailbox -issuewarningquota 200 MB -ProhibitSendQuota 200 MB -ProhibitSendReceiveQuota 200 MB
Or ignore the event type safe.

Or, override SCOM to ignore the warning.

Hello Ed, Niko!
Thanks for your help and support.
As I understand it, this behavior is almost certainly “expected” and therefore a bug, right?
As far as we understand, there is no workaround, there are only 2 workarounds:
– Or stop all SCOM tests =>, which is actually recommended in perspective
– Save my gold to increase the size of the new mailbox. Is it possible to clear the mailbox as a third workaround?
