According to my research, you can use Excel Viewer to open files that were used in Microsoft Excel this year, Microsoft Office Excel 2007, Microsoft Office Excel 2003, Excel for Windows (version 95 and above), and Microsoft Excel for Macintosh. (version 2.2 and after). Excel Viewer can open Excel in the following file formats: .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb, .xltx, .xltm, .xls, .xlt, .xlm, and .xlw. While you can run macro activated files (.xlsm, .xltm, along with .xlm), you cannot practice with macros. You cannot run Excel graphic files (.xlc), Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) files (.mht, .mhtml, .htm just .html) or comma separated text files (csv) (.csv).
