One way to debug a DLL project is to specify the exact invocation of the application in the buildings of the DLL project. Then you can start debugging from within the DLL project itself. In turn, for this method to work, it is imperative that the application calls the same DLL in the same location that you specifically configured. Specify The Calling Software In The Native DLL Project
Select the C ++ DLL project in Solution Explorer. Select the Properties icon, press Alt + Enter, or right-click and select Properties.
In the precise

In the list of debuggers, find either the Windows Local Debugger or the Windows Remote Debugger.
In the Command or Remote Command field, add the actual full path and filename of the Settings application, such as an EXE file.
DAdd many of the required program arguments to the Arguments field of the command.
Select OK.
Specify An Application Link In A Managed DLL
In Solution Explorer, select a C # or Visual Basic DLL project. Select the Properties icon, press Alt + Enter, right-click and select Properties.
Make sure some of the configuration fields at the top of the window are set to Debug.
Start under action:
For .NET Framework DLLs, select Start External Program and add the specific fully qualified path and name of the calling application.
Or select Enable Browser With URL and enter this URL for your local ASP.NET application.
The debug properties page is different for .NET Core DLLs. From the Run drop-down list, select Called Executable, and then refine the full path and alias of the calling application in this Executable field.
Add any required command line disputes in the Command Arguments, Application Arguments field. Alt = “C #
Use File> Save Selected Items or Ctrl + S to save your changes.
Debugging In A DLL Project
Set breakpoints for the last DLL project.
Right-click the DLL project by choosing Set as Startup Project.
Make sure Debugging is configured in the Solution Configuration field. Press F5, click the actual green start arrow, or browse> Debug Start Debugging.
If debugging never hits your breakpoints, make sure the output of your DLL (this is the default folder)

I have two solutions for my workspace, say A and B.
Solution A is an older project that finished programming a few seconds ago.In solution B, I need to use some of the classes from solution A. To do this, add information to the DLL generated by the projects from solution A. Problem
This is when I’m trying to help you debug. I also want to be able to inject code from A. Visual Studio cannot download the tutorial code (“Source code is not offered for current location”). After that, I can only view the disassembly, which is often useless.
The only way I know to debug classes from Cure A is to run solution B, disable all processes (in the Debug menu item) and add methods from solution A.
However, this is surprisingly impractical and sometimes I am unable to debug A OR B oncetimely.
Is there a way to allow stepping according to the code of the referenced DLLs (of which I have the referenced code)?
Solution. My mistake was that I thought that a project in most cases can be part of a single solution. In fact, based on decisions, a project can turn into any number of projects.
If you need to reference the whole project, just add my project to the solution. This can almost certainly be done by right-clicking on the newly found solution in Solution Explorer> Add> Existing Project.
After that, you can add information about the project. As others have written, you should probably completely avoid using DLL references to use your own (or encoding some other prefix that you may need to change and debug).
