Help Fix Super Taskbar XP Errors

Over the past few days, some readers have encountered a known error code on Super Taskbar XP. This problem occurs due to several factors. Now we will deal with them.

I didn’t like what changed to nTask panels from the days of Windows XP (or the ribbon interface of Microsoft Office software, which sometimes intuitively seems to me to be the opposite). In XP, taskbar tokens were significantly smaller and did not even take up as much screen space as in Windows 7, and, moreover, they could fit more from top to bottom. I know that Microsoft is moving towards “more, which could be called better” in the user interface to bridge the gap between the home PC and the touchscreen. This requires a single hierarchical taskbar interface. But I was wondering if they were implementing a huge option for the “classic XP look” now, as there were more or less complaints from long-time new users of the XP UI now.

You should get everything you want from Classic Shell. In particular, I see no other way to atone for the traditional extension scheme of installed programs: many entries are often missing from the Win10 All Apps menu. – AFH February 21, 2016 10:17 PM
Windows 10 (and many of the leading websites) will certainly aim for higher resolution screens. Some laptops offer a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution, which means calls need to be dynamically resized or they look unwieldy (and ugly in my opinion). Not directly related to the issue, but hopefully contains some useful background information. You should provide most of what you expect from Classic Shell. In particular, I do not know of any other way to use the traditional program extensions menu from installed programs – there are many common items missing from every menu of all Win10 applications. – AFH February 21, 2016 10:17 PM

To do this, go back to the Start Menu tab in the Taskbar Properties dialog box and the Start menu. This dialog box allows you to select the Windows XP type for the Start Menu or Classic Start Menu. You can also change this tool to your liking by clicking the Customize button.
