There are four different versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack. A range with a very small packet that consists of only the most important decoders in a large and complete packet. The general differences between the differences are listed below.e. Detailed options can be found in the overall capacity comparison and in comparison to the information pages.
These codec packs are interchangeable with Windows Vista / 7/8/8. 1/10. Old ones are also with XP.
Packages contain both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so they work great on both x86 and x64 Windows flavors!

Tool for creating and testing DirectShow graphs … - Some ACM / VFW codecs are sorted as x264VFW and Lagarith.
This codec is a choice made by powerful video editing / encoding applications to work with AVI files. For example VirtualDub.
These codecs are not used or absolutely necessary for video playback.
Important note: the K-Lite codec pack does not increase the import capabilities of theprofessional video editors such as Vegas Movie Studio or Adobe Premiere. These applications most likely only support the import of small linked file formats and will certainly support the use of a type including the codecs contained in that particular codec pack (DirectShow / VFW). Modern publishers often only use their own internal codecs or support external codecs such as the Human Media Foundation.
