Start by migrating to a new kernel.Basically list other old kernels using this dpkg command.Notice the system disk space usage by running the df -H command.Purge most old unused kernels, run: sudo good –purge autoremove.
LVM installations and encrypted settings use a separate /boot partition. A section can only hold four or five grains of corn by default and can fill up the tank very quickly. To prevent the /boot partition from filling up immediately, you should change the automatic removal of old kernels and regularly remove old kernels manually.
Changing the kernel that hosts packages on your personal system requires root-compatible commands, so see RootSudo.
Removing previous kernels is easy if the system frees up enough space on the root partition or dissolves the boot partition. You can uninstall both updates manually, or set the updates to run automatically all the time. If you receive or may have received an error message from a package management tool, manual extraction may not work until the problem is largely resolved. See Samplelemmas”.
