Sometimes your computer may display an error that says Mapi encountered an undefined 2007 error word. This issue can be caused by a number of reasons. Word was unable to send mail due to MAPI error: “Unknown error.” This error can occur if you started sending a Word document from an email attachment in Word and the MAPI session was also closed, or Word can no longer connect to that MAPI session. This can also happen if there is a problem with your send setup.
This problem suddenly drove me crazy. I looked at about 30 results on google but didn’t really solve my problem.
This error is related to using File> Save & Send> Send as Attachment or some other method (such as Email in connection with the Quick Toolbar) when sending an attachment via Word.
However, and this is important for this tool, this does not happen all the time. It’s good for a while when it happens suddenly. Restarting the computer fixes the problem during the holidays and then repeats again. This is the only thing that separates my problem from anything I have selected through Google.

Only one in 100 people would experience it for themselves. I restored Windows and even the computer I replaced, although the problem persists.
I tried to close:
– Word and Outlook and reopening
– Reinstall Office
– Create a new profile
– Configure internet users on another computer
– Switch to Outlook by caching shared folders
– MovedOutlook Inbox subfolders
My last resort, which I haven’t gotten around to yet, is to rebuild the Windows image computer. However, since we have replaced the user’s computer and he is the only one who has a problem, hopefully it must be something to keep up with his profile, be it his Outlook mailbox or something else besides you, which is unique for him.
Finally figured it out. At least I’m pretty sure.
Whereas the actual mapi32.dll removal I found was using Shoretel Communicator (Business VOIP System Software). I closed it and the anxiety disappeared.
Since Shoretel now has Outlook integration, I turned everything off with it, restarted it, and generally the problem did not occur. With any luck, keep in mind that this has definitely been fixed!
EDIT: Turned out to be not a permanent fix. I thought it was the Shoretel software that caused this situation, and not the desire to integrate Outlook.
This was last posted on Microsoft Answers Wordand OUTLOOK. I am writing here in the hope that someone at Microsoft will find the right solution, or at least bring my problem closer to someone who will.
I am experimenting with VBA and writing some hobbyist add-ins for Word. So I also installed Word 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013 on my computer. They get along well. I really feel like I can’t get him to “share” or “send” a fantastic open word The document is attached to the electronic version! Any In any case, Word returns an issue: “Word cannot send email because there was a MAPI error, no error is specified (same issue occurs with Excel, but with PowerPoint, except that the error dialog is literally a bit is different).
In Word 2003, I can (MAY) “Send (to email recipient for verification)”, where the OUTLOOK case with the document is now available as a great attachment. I can also “Email Recipients” from Windows Explorer, in which case the Word file will probably be attached I can create an Outlook message and an actual OUTLOOK instance and send an emaile-mails from Word using VBA.
I have restored all versions of Office. I removed write methods for all versions of Office and restored all versions. I did fixmapi until my face turned blue. I adjusted the MAPI32.DLL filenames and ran sfc scannow Make sure the MAPI32.DLL archive is not damaged. In the context of these steps, and with most of the things I can do, something tells me that the MAPI files are definitely okay.
So what is this “undefined error”? This problem is widespread and most of the “leftover” software has been flagged as “responded” by MS dedicated technical support. the problem comes from one point, but now they don’t bother. At least not for me.
Download this software and fix your PC in minutes.
Restart your computer and start Outlook Express. From the Tools menu, select Options.Usually uncheck Make Outlook Express my default simple MAPI client and then just click Apply.Press the buttonI’m OK when you get the basic prompt to restart your computer.

Close Microsoft Outlook on your computer.Go to the search bar and enter Mapi32. dll and press Enter.Go to the parts folder and rename it Mapi32. Old.Now enter “fixmapi.exe” and enter. Now the new Mapi32.
