Here are some easy ways that can help you fix my 320GB passport issue. The videos that users see today on BBC iPlayer are encoded using the On2 VP6 codec at 500 kbps. The On2 codec (a video compression computer from On2) is also pretty much the standard for digital video transmission over the Internet today.
Although some HD courses, such as The Proms, are broadcast in 5.1 surround sound, all content on your iPlayer is only available in stereo.
As of 2015, all BBC Radio online content is generated by the Audio Factory operating system, which ensures the same quality and device support for all my stations.

All bitrates are not always supported by all devices many times. For example, a mobile phone may only be offered lower bitrate streams if it supports 3G/4G to provide a more stable connection and really improve the listening experience. Also, some electronic devices may actually work at a good single data rate and therefore may not offer other options, e.g. a kind of internet radio.
Audio Factory does not support WMA (Windows Media Encoding Audio) or delivery protocol.

I would say, with the exception of Radio 3 HD, we no longer offer ICY (SHOUTcast) streams with the AAC+ codec. MP3 at 128 kbps must have been chosen on the advice of various internet radio manufacturers targeting streaming codecs and protocols supported by as many of their older devices as possible. New R/C Internet devices should be able to use the HLS and/or MPEG-DASH protocols with the aac+ higher order codec.

BBC iPlayer is probably a BBC video service. The service will be available on a wide range of devices, including mobile phones and tablets, computers, smart devices and TVs.
