    net framework error advpack.dll

Some time ago I wrote specifically about an internal error message I was getting while using ESXi. The workaround was to install on an ESXi host, which I think is the best choice. I recently ran into this problem again, but this one specifically tried to set up a remote syslog. I discovered this setup issue with vSphere integrated with Insight and would like to review the steps I took to resolve it.
    Start recording

I need information to find the new vCenter Server instance in the vSphere integration section of my Log Insight instance. I checked all the checkboxes for configuring ESXi hosts in combination with “Choose Preservation”. When I completed the operation, I got the following error message:

You might think that this problem is now relevant for the Insight magazine. So you can usually run this vSphere integration check on a virtual appliance and see this feeling:

[com.vmware.loginsight.vsphere.config.While vimvsphereconfigurer] [Atmosphere syslog option: error javax.xml.ws.soap.- soapfaultexception A military system error occurredems: this is an internal system error str=Error most often encountered: internal error; code = ServerFaultCode; action = null; null]javax det[0]=[SystemErrorFault:.xml.ws.soap.SOAPFaultException: An internal general configuration error occurred: Error"

While this certainly looks like a Log Insight issue, it’s actually an ESXi issue. If you are using ESXi, anyone can run the command to esxcli, you can check the current remote syslog configuration:

    # esxcli system syslog config get Default timeout for network attempts: 180 Local Output: /Scratch/Log Local log output configured: false Local log output persists: true Default rotation size for local logging: 1024 Default rotations for local logging: 8 Connect to one subdirectory: false Remote host:

Hmm, but it looks like Log Insight couldn’t change the ESXi host. Appearances, well, can be deceiving. For more information, see the hidden log file of the ESXi host:

    # tail /var/log/.vmsyslogd.err2014-05-08T11:00:42.075Z vmsyslog.config ERROR. . • OK, this means that either the FQDN is displayed incorrectly, or DNS is incorrectly configured on some ESXi hosts, or DNS is often incorrectly configured in the environment. Why didn’t Das newspaper just report it? ! The insight log can only give you what it usually gets from the vSphere API. In this case,Hiccups internal error. However, briefly take a look at one of the limitations of ESXi. See this article for more information on troubleshooting connected ESXi syslog.

Sorry for the long post, but I saw a similar post on the VMware website that inevitably went unanswered.

    net framework error advpack.dll

Scenario. I had to move several vCenters from my 4 to a completely different server.

    1. I made a SQL database backup (2005 Exp) on this particular server and started a new one. It’s smooth
    2. I uploaded the same version of vCenter (4.0.0) to the new server and just connected the moved database – everything is fine
    3. went to each (4) host and esx4 adjusted the …vpxa.cfg file to normal to start vCenter newbie and re-service
    4. vSphere Client installed the new vCenter and connected to the new vCenter. All hosts mine from a previous install were files or video graphics files (but were greyed out/disabled as expected)
    5. I kept connecting them and got SSL warnings which I removed (as stated in several posts Iconfirmed rochital)
    6. I’m deciding to move control from the previous one to vCenter. 3 out of 4 hosts connect to it without issue (all on the same subnet as vCenter [Not optimistic if it matters]
    7. The fourth host (on the subnet) does it differently, based on the same prompts as other programs, then says “in progress” for a long time, then problems with “General platform error, vmodl.fault.hostcommunication internal error encountered “.
    1. At first I wanted to delete the host and added to do it again (did not help)
    2. I saw a small post that said that there might still be a problem with name resolution –
      – I updated my Windows DNS to include all hostnames, IP addresses and (forward and reverse lookups). Nslookup I can face it and Ping– host
I checked the resolv.conf file and it points to my domain and the nameserver domain.
-host directory is empty (exactly Like main host 3 which is connected), so I have one
    3. I left, restarted your vpxa and vmaware mgt. The agents are based on some posts I have read (sorry I don’t have the correct name,I’m new to VMware)
