Swfobject, I.e. Easy To Fix Memory Leak.

I am using video.js in the current UI where I dynamically create video players and remove them accordingly, but only show one player at a time. Ideally, I would just find a way to help clean up the SWF video system rather than refactoring a replacement that reuses that player.

I am seeing an incredible memory leak (where the player usually uses flash memory) in IE8. After each new player is “rejected”, the amount of memory tested by IE remains constant, and when trying to “create” each new player, that player’s memory usage increases. The same Firefox implementation (using Flash player) failed to scan memory, so the problem is most acutely related to IE8.I.

Before deleting a trusted player / video, I define player.src ('') and call player.Which Destroy () to remove the temporaryx scales, triggers, etc. recall.

I also tried swfobject.removeSwf () as it does a series of disassembles to avoid memory leaks inside IE (something to do with the method of each function of the particular swf object that needs to be zeroed out).

When trying to delete + redraw javascript from a USB stick in IEYou may already have this problem.

I recommend using a fantastic iFrame to load a new video every time instead of usingJavascript to run it.

Thanks for the advice. It definitely improved my skills.And that may be enough. Since the owner is the same player,As long as the user is viewing most of the video from my web page on the site, hethe same performance seems to be acceptable currently in IE.

But! … There is still a memory leak that I saw both times and then”clearVideo” is the real new “loadVideoById”.

Don’t always try to embed this new movie file, use non-chrome players instead.

I noticed that when my site is read in IE, every moviecharged loads get slower and slower. Since the functionality of Simple WebThe “Requires” page is for the user to view the online video in order, then it isshould be done with every new video watched, not with performance degradation.

But when you watch a new video on the Internet at the same time, the loading timeVideos take longer and longer. And, by suty, “Task Watch Manager” inWindows I can easily tell that there are memory leaks when creating a new videopay.

NOTE. If I replace the YouTube player without the new API, I getget rid of the memory leak. And if you are using most Firefox readers / APIs,I certainly don’t have a memory leak.
