Help Fix Winamp Wireless Sync Error

Why do you use data cables and constantly connect your phone to your computer to download new music? With Winamp for Android, music can be synced over Wi-Fi after a one-time pairing between the phone line and the PC. Follow these five tips to spend less time connecting to your computer and still enjoy your music on the go.

Note. Wireless sync requires Winamp for PC (beta 5.9 may be later) and Winamp for Android (for example).

1. Open the Winamp for Android settings menu and check the box to enable wireless sync.

2. Open the Winamp PC media library and scroll down to Devices. Click this item and find your phone as shown on the right. If the product doesn’t work, try clicking the discover button below.

3. There are two ways to complete pairing with Winamp: by hovering over the mobile phone image and clicking on the black sync button that appears, or by right-clicking and even selecting Connect. Be sure to select Allow in the window that appears on your phone after trying to pair the two Winamps.
