The Windows XP Service Pack (SP3) 3 long-term release was packaged, released, and released into production on April 21, 2008 US Time. Only original equipment manufacturers (OEM channel) now have access to the bits of code generated by Windows XP SP3, while regular users are expected to start downloading on April 29th. XP Windows SP3 released 5.1, then build 5512 (5.1.2600.5512), Windows is slightly better than XP RC2 Refresh (but 5508) and not the supposed Create 5573.
Chris Keroak, Release Manager for Windows XP SP3, which is provided under Windows Maintenance, states the following on the TechNet Forum:
Today we are pleased to announce that Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) has been released for growth (RTM) for OEM and Enterprise customers.
We are also in the final stages of preparing a domain (that is, you!), which will be released on April 29th via Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center. Online documentation for XP Windows SP3 will then be updated, such as Microsoft Knowledge Base articles and Microsoft TechNet XP Windows TechCenter. For customers running Windows XP at home, automatic distribution of Windows XP SP3 updates for Windows XP to home users will begin in early summer.
Thanks a lot to next for installing the public beta – they not only gave us feedback, but also helped everyone fix bugs in a timely manner. With this beta program, we have identified some of the major issues and confirmed some important fixes. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Windows XP SP3 Standalone Service Pack has been disclosed, plus users can now download configuration for Windows XP SP3 via Torrent installer or via HTTP download. Or download Windows XP with built-in SP3.
The CD containing the Windows XP SP3 image and standalone installer downloaded from the Microsoft Download Center is approximately 580 MB in size, and downloads start at 70 MB on Windows Update. Service Pack 3 applies only to 32-bit versions of Windows XP and does not apply to 64-bit versions of Windows XP. It can be installed on Windows XP, which is the reason for the basic installation of SP1 or SP2, and works with all versions of XP. It has also been reported that a configuration installed with Windows XP SP3 RC v.3300 or later may updateUpgrade directly to the final version of SP3 without removing the beta or stopping the XP SP3 candidate versions.

For Intel processors (x86 only 32 bits). If you get a 64-bit compatible processor (all AMD> 2002 mfg, Intel ia 64), you cannot use the x64-bit instruction set! It’s just a 32-bit Windows! There is no SP3 for Windows XP 64-bit version 2003.
