1. My Western Digital ~200GB was terribly chkdsk to death. Without mistakes. Using Active@ Hard Disk Monitor and Scanning the smallest block of the entire computer for bad sectors revealed a healthy hard drive.
2. I bought another hard drive, one 1TB WD (with jumper setting 7-8 for maximum compatibility), reinstalled the OS and installed the best drivers without any dilemmas (clean device and manager and happy). , gets the same behavior when installed.
