How To Troubleshoot XenServer BIOS Issues

Recently, some of our users reported having encountered BIOS xenserver.
System requirements for XenCenter Operating system: Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 SP1, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server next year R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 08 SP2. … NET Framework: version 4.6.
XenServer includes various virtual machine templates that can be used together in various ways to create new virtual machines. Each template contains installation metadata — the configuration information needed to create a new virtual machine with a specific guest operations gadget and optimal memory, processor, memory, and virtual network configurations.

You can also create your own custom templates, customized using the appropriate operating system, memory, processor, storage and / or networking, and use them to create new virtual machines; see Creating New Website Templates.
Select BIOS Option
- Standard BIOS: In most cases, the virtual machine contains the XenServer BIOS strings;
- BIOS Setup: BasicsNo virtual machine has copies of all BIOS lines from a specific remote computer in the pool;
- No BIOS, if lines: the virtual machine barely detected the BIOS lines on first startup, the standard XenServer BIOS lines are inserted into the virtual machine, and the virtual machine receives the shared BIOS.
From your CD. You can download the installer (ISO file format) and in particular burn it to a CD.Configure an actual TFTP server accessible over the network to start.Install XenServer to remote media directly on the SAN to allow booting from the SAN.
If you create a virtual machine using the New Virtual Machine wizard, you can copy the BIOS strings from the OEM server from the same pool to the new virtual machine. This allows you to later install Windows OEM solutions from the optional reseller kit (BIOS locked) to the virtual machine if needed. The OEM server you are copying the BIOS strings from will definitely be identified as a home computer on the internet for the new virtual machine.
BIOS-enabled virtual machines can be easily ported, imported, and exported either directly to servers with the same BIOS version or to servers with different BIOS strings.
XenServer definitely supports booting hosts in UEFI mode. UEFI mode offers a specific and rich set of standardized functions – bootloader and operating systems. This feature makes it easy to reinstall XenServer on hosts where UEFI is the default boot mode.
