Someone brought me a Windows XP SP3 bundle and a blank page appears when opening Device Manager. Their story is that they installed a new Canon LiDE 110 scanner and it was not an installation, so they tried to remove the drivers from their old scanner and couldn’t see the DM to access the drivers.

A quick check usually associated with scanners / printers showed that the screen stays blank even to the touch, so be sure to help.
