XULRunner will certainly suppress messages passed to console.log (), except when you attach a debugger to which it is attached. This can only be achieved by debugging: remote XULRunner as debugger, Firefox as debugger. Once the debugger is attached to your XULRunner application, you can view the messages generated by console.log () in the debugger.

You can also set devtools set.debugger.remote-enabled in Firefox to true pref.
