Fixed: How To Fix New Desktop Email Alert Error

Over the past week, some of our users have encountered a known error code with a new alert on their email desktop. This problem occurs for a number of reasons. We’ll cover them below.

Fix-1 Change Action Center Settings –

Windows Notification 10 has built-in settings to manage app billing notifications on a specific device. You can enable notification settings for Outlook 2016 in the settings.

3. Now click on “Notifications & Actions” and then find Outlook On 2016 on the right side of the preferences window under “Notifications & Actions”.

If you cannot find “Outlook Under 2016” “Notifications and actions” in the settings, then –

a. Just send a message from Outlook 2016 and reopen most of the “Notifications & Actions” in Settings. You should now be able to view and activate “Outlook 2016”.

b. If your company is using an older version that is connected to Outlook (such as Outlook Update 2010), your amazing Outlook is up to date.

5 .. If you enable 2016, you will need to check Outlook to see if these notification options are available.

6. Make sure that someone has checked the boxes “Show notification banners”, “Show Notification Center alerts “and Play almost any sound when a notification is received.”

2. Now click “Mail” on the left side of the Outlook Options window. Now go to Show Desktop Warning and return to OK to save all changes.

You can manually create any type of desktop notification that contains a new Outlook settings rule. To do this, follow these steps –

2. Now click on the menu bar under “File” and zoom in on “Manage Rules and Notifications”.

3. Now click here in the rule warnings and in the New Rule window.

4. Now select “Apply rule to received messages” and click “Next”.

5. Now return to “Next” in the wizard rules window below. If you receive a warning message, click Yes.

6. Now select the option “Show warning on desktop” according to “Step 1: Action (s)”. Click Next.
