When I try to connect to my remote computer with KB_SQL, I get the error “[Knowledge Based Systems, Inc.] [ODBC Driver] TCP / IP Connection (10061): Denied”. What does the idea mean?
The most common causative agents for the “[Knowledge Based Systems, Inc.] [ODBC Driver] TCP / IP Connecton (10061): Denied” error are:
- The KB_SQL server is not running. To completely start the server from command line M, D START ^ SQL0SVR
- The location is incorrectly defined in all server configurations (Configuration> Change Site> Server Information).
- The ports are indeed correctly defined on the client side by the ODBC administrator.
If you’ve just installed MySQL server on DigitalOcean, you can find Upcloud and use TablePlus to connect to the server. An error message often appears: “Driver error, unable to connect to the MySQL server with” YOUR_IP_ADDRESS “(10061)”.
