I am trying to follow these instructions http://afterdesign.net/2016/02/07/recording-headless-selenium-tests-to-mp4.html for recording selenium tests.
However, when I try to connect a gate to xvfb, I get:

I found something here that resembles a problem: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1340432 However this should be fixed in product 1 and I am already using version 1.17 Direction and I am 2: 1 at 18.4-0ubuntu0.2.
According to Lauscher’s answer, I’ve reduced the issue to this:

The xvfb record just doesn’t work for me. Regardless of which X client I run xvfb-run with, the DISPLAY connection fails. For example

There is something strange in your /tmp/.X11-unix directory. If
/tmp/.X11-unix/X99 already exists, but /tmp/.X99-lock cannot,
clear the socket check and start over.
