Solved: Suggestions To Fix Windows 7 Drivers For Win2003 Print Server

Over the past week, some of our readers have reported that they have encountered the Windows 7 drivers for the Win2003 print server.

Whether or not the functional driver in Windows XP works for every seventh version has more to do with using the driver in 64-bit or 32-bit operating systems, and to a lesser extent with a specific version of the operating system. A 32-bit Windows 10 computer should be able to repair a 36-bit Windows 2003 server from a driver, just like a 64-bit Windows XP workstation should be able to print from a driver in a current Windows Server 2008 installation. / P>

Now that this is finally fixed, Chamele0n’s suggestion might work if you have this “different” version, and at times it is likely to be a real challenge for some computer printers. Your best bet is to just download 64 and 32 drivers for each printer you repair on the print server.

I found it easiest to manage them from Windows 7 Server or Workspace 2008 using the Print Management snap-in. From here, you can probably manage printer sharing on your local computer or remote print server. You can usually provide x64- or 32-bit drivers that you own using Sharing Control -> Other Driver, which is a different version that Chamele0n provided to the owners.
